My indane consumer number is 5957. I purchased subsidized LPG cylinder for Rs.1200/- on 21.2.2014 from the dealer at Pookkad, Calicut. I got the subsidy of Rs.715.92 transferred to my SBI account standing open at Vandipetta branch Calicut on 26.2.2014. Thus the basic price of the cylinder comes to Rs.484.08 against Rs.440/-. The VAT on the cylindar price is not recovered by Kerala Government with effect from 1.1.2014. Then why the VAT is recovered in this case. Similarly, the VAT amount recovered on the purchase of cylinder made from the same agency on 13.1.2014 is also not transferred to my ban Account.
